Is it just me or is last-100-yard package delivery (sub-block) breaking down even as Amazon tries to innovate at sub-last-mile logistics?

Think so. It's been kind of interesting to use their new model of a dedicated campus delivery point. Both easier & harder than before.

No, it's basically just an Amazon locker location, but larger, operated by Amazon & rebranded for students.

my idea was for automated organization of items within a home, which could eventually of course connect to external delivery services.

I had an idea for a "git for stuff" repo model along similar lines... cradle to grave tracking of stuff you buy

that seems like a current gap in our interfaces/understanding of what we own & buy. Dif. ecommerce sites keeping their own records.

I think interface is a bad place to start... model the flow, then instrument and API it for many interfaces to be possible
