It is far easier to communicate sincere dislike, contempt, hatred online than genuine caring. Social media has an anti-caring bias.

Found myself thinking earlier today that I've never experienced a society with such calamitously low level of mutual caring as US in 2016...

negativity is amplified & seems ubiquitous (more or less); sincere caring doesn't register w same magnitude (to recipient or audience)
