In normal times, high split-ticket % would be weird, but we're way post-normal. Why wouldn't people vote not-Trump for POTUS, GOP for rest?

i guess the idea is pres candidate serves as figurehead of party; if a bad figurehead, ppl lose passion for party/voting in general
