I think that counts more as a national moral belief rather than national lie. Not really falsifiable.

I would argue that some moral systems are objectively, measurably more effective than others. Thus, falsifiable.

To be clear, moral system = set of rules of how we treat each other - separate from the law. Spiritual beliefs are a different thing.

1/ Well, depends of the definition of "effective". If you mean, stable with growing GDP, I imagine a stable totalitarian caliphate.
