I've used SWIFT for years on my business bank account, but only just realized most personal banking instis don't support it :/

. It's not the mechanism that is slow. It is the institutional mechanisms on both ends and at financial borders.
Let me know when they've signed up all the bureaucratic payer orgs around the world :D

from US to India? It can be a bit complicated.. some banks do it directly. For some, an intermediate step is required.
