I have noticed a certain frustration with what art the tech makes *possible* vs what the actual *outputs* are.

The former is not an interesting question. All tech is eventually used for art. Hollywood runs on CGI/computers etc.

I think it depends how "open minded" ppl (yes even in the arts) are.In the past 3-5 years more have started to find it more influential

But still a lot of people ridicule it and dismiss it, desert would probably win an actual survey of art proffesionals
