Oddly enough I had same amount of formal ed in both: 4 years of Shakespeare deep-read (2 plays) and programming through high school.

@vgr i feel like it's weird that the culture insists on comparing them. coding is composition--like writing, architecture, carpentry, etc.. -
@vgr …whereas shakespeare is information and (to lesser degree) analysis. it's good for thinking to have both skills + information

@vgr My older daughters took an online Shakespeare class in high school. 3 tragedies and 3 comedies. Homeschooling FTW -
