AFAICT by my inventory, only 2 kinds of stories allow you to properly tackle infinite-game themes: space sci-fi and murder mysteries.
@britt Law and Order often addressed contemporary themes by setting a murder in it. Christie does too.

@vgr Haven’t thought this through entirely but, Wallander taken as a whole seems like an infinite game mystery under my definition. -
@britt I go by Carse test of "goal is to continue game". Procedurals that don't develop victim or murderer character are finite IMO.
