Anyone tried forming unicorn-equivalent teams? (say designer+frontend+backend+sysad) hired out in FTUEs? (full-time-Unicorn-equivalents?)

Instead of either trying to create an acquirhire-team by design. Just create hire-us-as-a-team units, almost like micro-hetero-skill-unions

I've tried selling teams. Turns out I'm terrible at sales.
But I *think* it's a great idea.

I've been outsourcing a lot on odesk (upwork now). Would rather pick up whole teams than piecemeal ppl, though

i think this nails it really. You get this same problem in acquihires - v rare that the two cultures don't clash.

That resonates. Even where they are hiring X people, they prefer X individuals vs a team of X.
It's, effectively, a mini union
