Bootcamp models will either evolve to replace universities as default, or die out. Stable sandboxes within universities is wishful thinking.

I am not unbiased here - but university also serves as a maturity holding tank for 18-22 yr olds for society. Need that function.

When fields are nucleating very quickly, bootcamp models are more natural, since so much less institutional inertia to battle.
