I haven't seen any such resource. But the disadvantages are: administrative overhead, lack of scale, lack of specialization in roles.

@Steve_Pruneau I am talking specifically about regulatory disadvantages. The rest are part of the game you sign up for and are fair risks.

because unlike govt stuff, with contracts you always have a choice to say "no" and propose alt terms or walk. Not so with laws

Legal disadvantages: Having to maintain the corp and related regulatory compliance. Those costs are spread across fewer people.

Small-biz/Free-Agents typically don't have resources to respond to invalid law suits or threats from regulatory departments.
