wut? 90% of human discourse seems to be about beauty/ugliness to me. We just call it "values"

I think it's useful to talk about beauty specifically, because "information reaching our senses" is a special value domain

It is a plurality of value domains. That's what causes problems. People can see the same thing and not agree on beauty.

Because as Kant (?) said, "we see not what is, but who we are"... it's as much/more projection as perception/sensing.
