no, this is actual core work time. Not the warmup/cooldown rituals or any collateral.
Yup. Some days I hit the ground running. Other days I screw around for hours, get nowhere, but don't admit defeat either.

because they're either mired in QS thinking, or "productivity" or naive lifehacking. None has a psych model underneath.

Breakthrough for me: automation isn't the point. Manual logging isn't that hard. It's integration into work habits hat is hard.
