@vgr It's really couldn't get much simpler than HTML/CSS are already. That's an eye of the needle you're asking to thread.
4/ Wizards and custom CSS/HTML are a bad pair. Give full control to coders, invent a simple scripting language for regular users.

@riemannzeta HTML/CSS can still be the lower layer for pros. Most of us just want much simpler things that can be built on top.
