"work with" is stronger than "like." "Like everyone until I don't" = "I don't know if I like X until I try working with them."

yes Facebook has commoditized liking something but generally I'm an optimist's optimist.

precisely... "like" has been devalued to the level of common civilty. Friendship in an era is defined by stress imposed on it.
