Looks like the full flounce count is about a million as of Nov 3, and I’m guessing it’s all pretty active people and many idiosyncratic posters. I’d guess the quiet quitters who are still on here but checked out are 10x that.

Treating social like a software business is the wrong paradigm. When 5% of users create 75% of content, they need to be treated like business partners, like YouTube does.
