🚭 For ~15 years I used to smoke ~7-10cigs/day. I’d smoke 1st thing in the morning, last thing at night, after every meal, as a treat or a break, a quick recharge, to socialise, to commemorate. It punctuated my days. I liked being a smoker!
I stopped 99.9% this year, ~0/day

if I had to point to a main reason for why I stopped, funnily, it’s that I wrote a book about introspection (). to write it I had to research n confront my feelings re: coping mechanisms, and when I finished writing the book I was a different person who doesn’t smoke
