To become properly evil you must start by installing the belief “I am good” at the foundation of everything else.

It's tempting to regard bad faith as being the fundamental mode of evil but I don't think you're really being fair to those who do horrific things simply because they can without abandoning their intellectual integrity.

Sorry but can you define “properly” evil?
Some people have had trauma planted early that they’re flawed/broken - therefore why should they try to be/do “good”?
They did some pretty messed up stuff, not the same as the those who do it under the auspices of good tho.
