Hobby IoT has come so far. Have y'all played with an esp32s3? ~$12 for a usb-programmable board with wifi and BLE, can run on a coin cell battery, and run Arduino, Python, or even JS with Compartments via . They're like $0.90 standalone. π€―

Yes, JS with Compartments, on a 90 cent chip. Yes, that a critical piece of the tech that MetaMask Snaps are built on.

For our rover project tried running a light node on an RPi and is now investigating stuff like this. We want our hobby scale rovers to be onchain somehow.
All the esp32 line has hardware cryptographic acceleration, includinG ECC. I havenβt gotten to try it yet. I doubt you could run a light client on one of these, but Iβm pretty sure one could participate in a delegation chain or eventually CapTP network.
