People in nonprofit fundraising — why do people name things in extremely cumbersome ways?
Why “John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation” when you know everyone will just call it MacArthur foundation?
Same with politics. Ridiculously unusable names.

George Washington tried to get Congress to let him use various fancy titles and they told him ‘Mr. President’ was good enough.
Though if you ever served as an Ambassador or equivalent you’re allowed to be referred to as Your Excellency I believe
