Feels like the only good reason to accumulate more capital than you personally want to have (at whatever level of luxury etc) is to build complex technology. Purely social aims seem mostly achievable without capital concentration. 🤔

Money for what? Centralized service centers? That’s tech. Big database systems to track them? Tech. Anything you do above 1:1 personal help basically takes complex tech.

you can just want to build stuff. doesn’t have to be complex. train networks, cool buildings, great urban parks… if I were a billionaire I would just spend it on cool public works and spectacular urban planning
