Now my reaction is “here’s something that has almost no chance of mattering and I can safely ignore. They’re up their own asses with jargon”

Test: it’s specialized functional jargon if you have to do more than just google it to grok it. Otherwise it is just self-limiting conceits.

If it’s real, more people will learn the jargon as it scales. If it’s nonsense, the thing may scale for other reasons but the jargon and ingroup discourses won’t.
