Whoop finally made data downloadable in spreadsheet form. Haven’t yet tried downloading. Otoh the price is going up. Might not renew next year. It’s got to be possible to do a cheaper open fitness strap that does HRV and temperature, with an open-source analytics package.

I do like their strain/recovery summary metrics, but I don’t like that it’s an illegible 21-point-scale black box proxy metric and percentage score.

I like the idea behind Whoop but there’s no way they can preserve that margin. Apple/Garmin/someone is going to eat their lunch & come up with a comparable metric
