Feels like ads are as much in rerun and reboot hell as tv shows and movies. Progressive Flo and geico gekko are still logging the hours.
Only new ad I can recall from last year or two is Progressive “don’t turn into your parents” ads
As TV got fragmented by VOD and streaming the ad experience also got more targeted and fragmented. It's not as important to have an TV ad campaign that resonates with America. You can put more specific message in front of specific audiences.
