Are there any clear tests or treatments for long covid yet?

It's been a week since this White House protest for ME/CFS and Long Covid. I've been following up with a subset of them. Not one is back to "baseline"—an already limited amount of activity they could undertake. "Post-exertional malaise" (PEM) is so baffling and counterintutive. twitter.com/zeynep/status/…

Apparently the rate for omicron is 4.5% and delta was 10%. The virus evolved away from long covid. Wonder what the logic is? Up and ready for reinfection faster?

Don't think long covid affects reinfection rate? Haven't seen any results about it and have seen anecdotal evidence to the contrary, so don't think it can be that. But curious nonetheless.

Ah, that's an interesting theory. Would expect to see that affect the reinfection numbers in the end. Waiting for more quality data to be released on long covid as it seems like folks are now accepting it's a real thing.
