If you can get 8-12 people to sign off, you might get tenure in the humanities. It’s sort of a Certificate of Good Personhood and comes with guaranteed job and salary

The problem is not that critical theory is bad theory. Good stuff can and does emerge from it. The problem is that most practitioners have discovered they are Good People. There’s no coming back from that.
