climate change should overall lead to wetter conditions right? are there any significant projects designed to exploit that fact...? like canals from regions getting wetter to regions getting drier?

7% more water vapor in the air per degree warming 🤔
Giant solar powered fans on balloons to blow it all towards the Sahara. Terraform it 🤔🤔

Unfortunately a lot of the extra precipitation is predicted to be over the Arctic, or over the Pacific ocean. The Mediterranean region is projected to be hit hard by droughts. carbonbrief.org/explainer-what

Will it cause 7% more rain though, the rh ceiling gets raised and requires more water to precipitate.

Pushing air around might be tough - lots of energy in wind to overcome... but if we're talking geoengineering, cloud seeding has been quite successful in increasing rainfall. That + reforestation might legitimately result in some large scale terraforming!
