A reliable measurement of social fragility might be the number of days till the world to discovers you died in your sleep.
I’ve gone from 1 day to 3-4 weeks.
So I spent the day at a maker space and I’m eating at the orphan’s the table.
Because the world won’t just happen.

Where do you live? Did you and your late wife have much of a local social circle?
If my wife and I died at the same time it would be at least a week before anyone noticed, probably 2 or 3.

I live in Melbourne - but we lived in Toowoomba, 1700km from here when Chrissie died. That’s where her ageing father lived.
No friends or family there on my side, so I sold up and came back here - after three and a half years away.
Hence - socially fragile.

Well, once you’re ready seems like Melbourne will present many opportunities to rebuild
I’m sure you’ll get there. Time the great healer etc.
