Feels like mostly a blue world problem red world is gleefully treating as a positive externality. It’s not that they can’t connect the dots but don’t actually have the same acute self-interest at stake since they fly much less

Also, aspirational social ethoses (?) like “collective care” and “collective self interest” feel kinda like emotional science fiction. When I try to imagine societies where they are dominant, it feels about as real as warp drive. Humans just aren’t that attitudinally homogenous
