I’d say take my course, but tbh I think “writing skills” cache has been invalidated and we’re all screwing around trying to figure out what works post-Weirding. I don’t think anyone knows.
That a critical mass of people actually shared my interest in evolving an online hangout devoted to tinkering/studying together rather than socializing or grand change-the-world vision shit. It’s been very rewarding.
Not really big on movies. More a TV show guy. Station 11 would top my list. Fresh, not a reboot of 80s/i0s things. Feels post-Weirding relevant, not out of touch. If you must have a movie, I quite enjoyed Jurassic World: Dominion.
Fermi estimate: Earth area is ~360m km^2, and average cloud cover is 67%, so 240m km^2. Discrete clouds seem to range from about 10deg arc to unbroken continent size in sat photos. Guess average is 30 deg at 3000m, so ~2km across. Assume square cloud, so 4km^2, so 60m clouds. https://twitter.com/CyberneticMelon/status/1556421753064361991…
American: peel with knife, 0.25” latitude cuts. Loose-skinned varieties: hand-peel, eat longitude segments with skin, but remove stringy bits first. Never juice. Chinese restaurant wedges are just sadism, but actually peelable if you must eat. Do not suck on it like a psychopath.
You're playing RPS with a completely random person. You think he's gonna pick what he thinks is the most clever option. Which option do you think that is?
