people are unfathomably bad at knowing themselves which makes matching hard — also market thickness+timing are just really tough problems to solve w/o proper market design (modern dating market is _largely_ unstructured)

( pointed out to me at one point a few years ago about how TV show Bridgerton is actually about dating market design for the upper class in the 1800s (it’s got a match exploration period + bid timeline — it acts like a proper market))

matchmaking is a femme art, crypto is largely the realm of masculine concerns (security, counting)
the last PR i landed had ~10k lines, and i spent maybe 6mo on it, so 200k conservatively? (i have no idea)
