Irony: A society bound by middle-class morality is not generative enough to produce the prosperity required to sustain middle-class morality.
Afaict you need venal upper and lower classes to do the dirty work at both ends.

This is why the middle classes and their stock photo morality will be replaced by AIs 😇

Old stock photo morality = new API morality
We’re gonna replace middle class with dalle2 generated metaverse marionettes on the blockchain governed by very small shell scripts. To be downloaded to B-ark robots by 2044.
Only question is, are you exiting high or exiting low?

When I’m in a wow reality sucks mode I tend to conclude this. I’m going to hope for the best possible worlds though. Maybe we can replace BOTH the upper and lower classes with AI!!?? Just a thought. Kidding. It might make for a good movie though.

Jilly Coopers satirical Class (1970s era) devotes the majority of the book to three middle classes. All are inward and lateral looking. The lower and upper classes are outward looking.

Good to know the future is continued stratification and that you’re actually happy about this.

The opposite is also true. The morality taught at school is middle class morality. For a social change to go mainstream, it needs to be translated from upper / lower class Realmoralität into middle class “can’t we just be nicer” morality.
