So I bought this spool of 42AWG stainless wire off ye olde *m*z*n and after pulling the first meter off, this happened:

In the distant past we’d used this stuff to tie together small parts, poke cells, clear tiny orifices. Never got anything but a single continuous length.
I’m not able to imagine how these little short lengths even get wound on a spool. 😂
Maybe it is spot-corroding and breaking? 🤷♂️
