If you are always trying to keep options open, means you're not committing hard enough. At this point in life, it would be more stressful to artificially keep options on the table. Best to pick a path and lean in imo

I can vouch for collapsing a tremendous amount of personal optionality; the state mandated injections was a tipping point for those not in favor of that type of thing; a pretty substantial minority of us discovered our hill worth dying on
