2 text interfaces that look similar but are worlds apart. In both you type in a box and older rows of text scroll above it. As far apart as centralized and distributed computing. One lends itself to god pov, the other to ant pov. Discord / command interfaces are uncanny valley

Wonder if escaped / commands would be interesting for twitter. We talk too much about algorithmic vs chronological feeds and don’t question the passive consumption metaphor at all. Twitter search is very powerful and the reply/thread sub-trees of stream are ok to traverse though

Like say /highlight{search term},{yellow} should have that effect on the main stream. Like a tweet deck search column but on main feed
