I’ve grown to appreciate soulless decor. It is restful. It doesn’t leave you with the feeling: “Who is trying to impress me with their taste?” It humbly quits the game. It’s zen. I also love real art. There’s a place for both.

Sometimes I buy frames with default art in them that you’re supposed to replace and hang them up at home. Feels zen to welcome corporate art into your life “Just as every drop of water is of one taste with the ocean, so every phenomenon is of one taste within natural emptiness”
