Luckily wife handles most critical personal stuff and bookkeeper stays on top of business stuff, but there’s still a bunch that’s my responsibility that I’ve kinda allowed to turn into a high entropy mess

How much of this is automateable so you can not care about it?

Can recommend just asking yourself "is this really something I need to do? Do I need to do it as often as I think I do?" I've been able to minimize my self imposed obligations by a lot after I started doing this.

I'm not really in an unimpeachable position to give advice on this sort of thing, but an unexpected helper app (for me) is a good podcast/audiobook that's not too demanding but that's interesting enough to distract me from the mind-numbing task at hand and make it (more) doable.
