Funny you should ask, I just solved that yesterday

Since I genuinely didn’t notice the in-hindsight obvious self-referential potential when I tweeted that, yeah… unexpected. Tweets already paid for itself now.

if callback tweets are currency I am very well-off indeed

interesting thing about my "2020 tweet" thread is I can pull a list of newsworthy deaths in seconds
people always ask me things like "what are you trying to do here" but the honest answer is I often don't know until later on

Unexpected though. You might be overengineering it too much at least by my standards
The meaning is in the new seed the callback itself (re)plants

There’s a meta-skill here of learning how to not allow yourself to be satisfied by the callback, as satisfying as it is on its own. Of encouraging yourself to build upon it, and gracefully hand back the congratulatory ribbon of “knowing something already”.

Expectation is a scope/horizon question. No telling when or from where the callback comes. You can build intertextually and see what happens.

I didn’t plan/expect this one! I mean unless we’re saying “expect the unexpected” means it’s no longer unexpected. I never have any idea what I’m gonna tweet tho

Your extreme hyperthreading on topics of broad interest… you don’t expect a specific opp but you expect a higher rate of opps in general due to the way you reinforce the web of connections. Like a spider expects to catch *something* in its web. I think there’s a tradeoff there
