I most often see at corporate VP level stalled level. They stall for a strange reason — they’re just a little too psycho for the C-suite. But they make effective abuse-based leaders of orgs dominated by relatively low-skill but high emotional labor jobs.

I used to think it’s innate psychopathic traits coupled with early exposure to manipulative behaviors, but now I think almost anyone can turn into a frame control psycho, because it is effective, addictive, and drives easy accumulation of power in some contexts.
