I mean, suitable for purpose. Getting a hotel room with our kids visiting my mother in law, Holiday Inn was well worth it, anything cheaper was screwed up often enough it would cost me sleep, which was BAD. Myself, really, not having vermin is most of what I care about.

I can be specific, and I certainly like good stuff, not simply expensive. Tim Bihn soft luggage for example. Excellent thoughtful design, amazing craftsmanship and quality, made in the USA, reasonably priced for what they offer. Aerostich motorcycle riding suits. /1

Yes, but not prestige, I like them, that's what matters. I don't need a brand on my backpack, though I'm fine with a discreet tag. Aerostich is an instantly recognized standard, the sagging ass nylon overall, coated in road grime, styled by a straight white guy from Duluth.
