Ok I’m bored of dalle2
All these generative AI things seem to run out of novelty in about 3 weeks. Comes from sitting inside a computer all day. AIs should get in a robot and go for a hike or to the mall.

Agreed; I’ve spent ~30 minutes total generating images and text given the various models I could access, but it quickly became too mentally sedentary; if I were to do anything with code and training data myself, it might be more worthwhile, but that’s not my thing so much.

This is correct and I am embarrassed to admit that it seems a car company has decided to prescribe the same treatment to help its AIs learn how to drive.

a lot of this boredom effect seems to be that there isn’t a free app available for anyone to casually chat with a generalized version of the most learned version of GPT-3

When it becomes available more broadly we can expect to see jobs for illustrators and graphic designers drop immensely.
It will be the same what all the internet stores have done to many brick and mortar stores.
I imagine it will have a fee. Get 5 dalle2 design spins for 25$.

what does dalle output when you ask it to create "AIs in a robot and go for a hike or to the mall."?

If you were looking at images from an art museum at the same frequency would you feel similarly?
