I use a real photo on some other services like LinkedIn where Iām low frequency or one-note, but on twitter, any photo or cartoon face can only match the mood of like 10% of my tweets, and feels weird for 90%
At some point I defaulted to non-face pics⦠the helicopter is now 2y old. Previously I was various space-themed ones. I donāt think Iāve used a face in 4-5 years. I was using various emoji and Bender before
I think the only face one I liked was this one I made of a theater style laugh/cry thing, a more stylized version of an older strained-mask-on-real-face cartoon
I used 𤣠and š for a while, but decided Iām not actually perennially psychotically amused. I considered but never used š¤. For a while was using various slightly creepy self made emoji⦠the slightly-stoned-smiling was quite popular.
Thereās a weird latent autobiography here
The helicopter has been the longest stable one. The joke is now lost on people (a ref to the early pandemic āgoing brrrā meme)
My pre-pandemic pfp was this one, in 2 versions⦠the ābrand!ā stamp idea was inspired by the āingroupā stamp. I was obsessed with this critter in 2019
