Some things not right on the list. Spider-man and Avengers listed further down from MCU. Maybe you break out Spider-man due to Sony movie ownership, but how do you separate MCU from the Avengers?

At that scale, they are really channels, not narratives per se. (Of course the original mythos does persist a little bit, but new things can be layered on top.)

main measure of money is like, childrens toys etc, and those kids arent really writing thinkpieces we don't talk about elsa very much on here but she still has an iron grip on little girls worldwide

Hmm this looks right-ish to me. My sense is that MCU is not terribly lindy - it has a big impact on how these things will be done in the future, but not so culturally significant. Also Star Wars spin-off shows better *and* more star-warsy than MCU shows are MCUy

i used to do market research for disney, and we did a yearly study where we asked kids around the world who their favorite characters were it was freeform, so some answers were cute / funny like 3-year olds who said "mom" elsa dominated the charts in every country (c 2015-16)

For what it’s worth the sources for all this stuff are pretty garbage — one of them for example guesses at the total sold value of pachinko games to get a value when a lot of the value of a pachinko game is the physical stuff etc. you want some kind of media-value-added thing
