Interestingly, modern industrial safety as a field began with the steam engine (exploding boilers). They just solved the risk problems without being all anthropomorphic about it.

I have no idea what ESG is.
But I do think concerns about AI ethics are important. It's easy to, accidentally or on purpose, hide bias in an algorithm that learns using data, or even to make programs that are unethical despite (because) being very effective at their goal
