Down payment: 25% savings, 25% inheritance from previous generation, 50% from current gen on future inheritance. Which the house value blew by any sort of stock dividends. When it comes to it, value will be reinvested back into old people care. Familylegacy™️ I assume

I received a cash gift approx 10% of down payment bc apparently my brother had received the same to help him & his wife buy their condo previously, but that was for fairness and I didn’t know until after our deal was done

I built it myself mostly with cash…Dad paid for concrete and windows, helped with framing and did all the electrical. Marked it down as “helped with down payment”
