13. Mars rover. Very rough. This vehicle moves weirdly due to 6-wheel rocker bogie mechanism, but my guess on exactly how is not very good. Also very tedious to draw since going over an obstacle changes the entire variable geometry. Also no way to automate moving background 🤬

Example of what NOT to do without an accurate visual reference. There’s a limit to what I can imagine. This is probably best done as a simulation export from a cad program imported into a 3D modeling tool, skinned, stylized, and then recorded.

Animation really highlights the weaknesses in your drawing skills even if you’re going for extremely rough storyboard grade drawing. I can draw better than this, but not quickly enough for animation.

Wonder if people will pay me to watch me suck at this at a grander scale than 20-30 min/day
Thus is like the animation equivalent of Jackass. I bet real animators are cringing hard watching me do this 🤣
Maybe they’ll pay to NOT watch this trainwreck 100-animation project

Some stuff is mechanically fixable. Obviously using perspective and foreshortening guidelines while drawing would vastly improve 14 for eg. I had to painfully fiddle and adjust. And vector would allow for easier scaling with zoom without redrawing.

18. Took a break from Procreate to check out what iMovie could do. Made this attempted dice animation using cube transitions. Didn't quite work since I can't change the direction of the cube transition.
