URL is the last bastion of choice and way for consumers to go outside the walled garden.
The harder they make you to go to arbitrary place, the more you have to use their stuff

library is expensive for retail (shortened/chaotic content lifecycles.) Trendwise, 90% of web content being copy of an original 3% the 87% is needless url proliferation.
