In hindsight it makes sense 3rd law (self-protection) would be first. It’s the easiest and also highest level in subsumption stack.
2nd law (following orders) is harder to program in intelligent form so is primitive right now.
1st law is hardest and is just safety rules now

We should definitely do 2nd law, but hear me out… maybe first law can be limited to just part 1 (a robot shall not harm a human) and we ditch part 2 (or through inaction allow a human to come to harm).
