Imo average spending ideas are commodity instances of categories. “Artist collective” is a category of idea. “Artist collective in Austin” is an actual idea.
Good spending ideas are specific and “pop” from parent category.
Great spending ideas are sui generis.
Most people will run out of ideas at 4m bc they’ve never had to consider spending so much money. If you give them 4m, by the time they’ve spent half, they’ll come up with ideas for another 10m. The mind is only limited by what it perceives as possible
