Anyone have an estimate of how many people are in this kind of band? Let’s say 0.4m+ packages…? And what kinds of roles besides software engineering pull down this kind of money? Am wondering how much tech salaries distort cost of life in places where techies congregate

All those big TComps come retroactively from stock growth. Look at the base, 240-250. It's after a few years of stock growth that their initial grant is worth so much
